Corals do not only live in tropical seas. Under the name coral, we find different species, some of which live in the Mediterranean Come and discover In Ustica the hard corals, which include reef-building corals, and soft corals, which do not have a skeleton.

Snorkellers, to the call!

The PADI/DAN Snorkeler Research Operator  training programme is for snorkelers who wish to participate proactively in research by learning to record data from Citizen Science in Marine Biology following a specific methodology of collection.

The big fishes are no more the star of the stage but give rise to tiny creatures, crustaceans and molluscs to take the spotlight. The scenario is reversed and the species hiding during daylight become the predators of the night while clear waters and starry skies makes it even more charming.

The best way to enjoy diving in Ustica is by boat. You will embark aboard and go for the half-day trip with 2 guided dives per day and surface interval. The boat might stay moored in a bay or navigate shortly for pickup services, but you have time to relax, snack, sunbath or swim in the meanwhile!
