In Ustica Island there are two underwater archeological itineraries with remains found in situ. They are mainly anchors of Roman and Byzanthine period with descriptive labels, scattered on the sea bottom creating an exiting tour among underwater wildlife.

The ArcheoTop Dive is mainly arranged by boat, although Punta Cavazzi site can be arrange as a shore dive.
No specific day or time is fixed for this Top Dive, it is usually fitted in the Half-Day Dive Program.
The Underwater Archeological Itineraries have been set by the Sicilian Superintendence of the Sea Office and the artifacts were left in the original place of discovery and equipped with notice boards avoiding their removal from the seabed that have kept them for centuries.
The Dive is guided by an expert divemaster, who will introduce you breifly to Ustica's past, give an explanation on how the anchors where used and how to recognize their manifacture.
