Snorkellers, to the call!
The PADI/DAN Snorkeler Research Operator training programme is for snorkelers who wish to participate proactively in research by learning to record data from Citizen Science in Marine Biology following a specific methodology of collection.
- Just by doing what you love, you can extend the reach and amplify the effectiveness of marine scientists by becoming their eyes and ears underwater
- Become a citizen scientist and join the fight on the front lines with no scuba training needed.

During your practical sessions, you'll:
- Learn about DAN - Diver Alert Network and its mission
- Discover 3 projects of Citizen Science available on site
- Understand the importance of the Marine Protect Areas
- Through a couple of workshops, how to take part actively to the projects.
You will then go for 1 open water skin dives and live your snorkeling adventures as a Marine Citizen Scientist!
