The PADI/DAN Snorkeler Research Operator  training programme is for snorkelers who wish to participate proactively in research by learning to record data from Citizen Science in Marine Biology following a specific methodology of collection.

Expand your understanding of the physical properties of the underwater world and how they affect you as a mermaid, while learning additional routine, exhibition and problem-handling skills.

Snorkeling is more than just the practice of swimming on or through a body of water to observe underwater life in a natural setting. It is an adventure activity that you can experience during your holiday in Ustica Island.

In Ustica Island there are two underwater archeological itineraries with remains found in situ. They are mainly anchors of Roman and Byzanthine period with descriptive labels, scattered on the sea bottom creating an exiting tour among underwater wildlife.

Dive beneath to volcano and explore the "dark side" of Ustica's underwater environment! The Cave Zone of the Marine Protected Area is regulated by its disciplinary and offers about 10 underwater caverns to visit.
